| About |

Maxed Out is an Unreal Tournament 2004 Total Conversion that will
feature the bullettime and movement as seen in the trilogy 'the
Matrix'. |
| |
There will be different gametypes: Duel (like Jedi Knight II) - this will
feature bullettime controlled by the players itself, Obj/TDM/DM - this
will feature bullettime controlled by the world. |
| |
Maxed Out will also feature many different locations which like banks,
highways and dojo's. The game will include various types of weapons, ranging
from handguns to sniper rifles. Points are collected by
killing opponents and completing objectives, and can be used at any time during the game to
load new weapons, equiptment, ammunition and special abilities (via mobile- and ear
phones). Also, a
players dodge range, jump height and groundspeed will be affected by the
number of guns they are holding. To counter the effects of this, players
will have to decide which weapons to keep and which to throw away. Some
weapons may also be held in akimbo mode, such as small machineguns and
various handguns. |
| |
Player movement has also changed in key ways. Players can choose to
activate complex mid-air stunts to evade enemy fire, including flips,
rolls, hovering and even wall running. |
| |
A range of new mutators may also be included for use with Maxed Out, such
as DSR InstaGib (with the DSR-1 Police Siper Rifle). Hopefully, mod makers
will be able to create Maxed Out mutators and adding new weapons will be
quick and simple. |
