More weapon goodness!

We have 4 new weapon renders for you again (this time the skinned DSR-1, MP5SD, FNC and the Sig552). 

We also had some reorganizing and in order to get the progress back after these holidays we really need some help!
Therefor, the Maxed Out team is looking for more experienced staff members:
a Character Rigger;
       a Player (!) and Weapon skinner;
        an Assistant Coder;
        a Sound Artist;
       a Mapper;

Well, we've been on the lookout for a bigger, better, more reliable host. BU, with it's great community, answered our 3 wishes!

And now that school is over for some of us we have good faith in making it into Phase 4 of the Make Something Unreal Contest.
Also welcome our new member Innocent Civilian, he will be doing most of the effects for MO like muzzleflashes, emitters etc.
 
Lastly, our weekly scream for new talent; "we are currently still in need of":
       a UVW Artist; experienced in creating uvw's from
     guns and player models
       an Animator (are they extinct??); experienced in
      creating bones, detailed animations and importing
      into UT2k4.
       a Weapon modeler;
       a Player modeler;

Interview
 

CrashOverwrite interviewed us for the Mod 'n Mod site. Be sure to check the interview because it also contains some exclusive screenshots!

.Here's an excerpt:

 

Q: How many vehicles can we expect? What kind of vehicles? Planes or cars or maybe boats?
A: Various cars and a helicopter with chaingun upgrade ;).

Q: Can we expect a singleplayer part or will you create a multiplayer only mod?
A: We will create a multiplayer mod only, there are no plans for a SP side of the mod yet...maybe in the far future.

Q: Which feature are you most proud of?
A: A feature that we call the onion-skins effect, I do not have a good picture of it yet but you can compare it with the bulletdodging of an agent (when you see faded 'left-overs' of the agent). That looks really kewl.

 
I also like to note that our progress is going superb since a month, maps are coming along nicely and we expect 2 models ingame, with new animation, in the next 3 weeks.

Yes, we finally have an IRC channel! The info:  #maxedout.ut2k4 on Quakenet. In need of a good conversation? Having idea's? Need to share your thoughts? Drop by!
Here is new concept art by Snakeye, the agent this time. Also two new skinned weapon renders, the Mossberg 590 Compact and Uzi.

Do you have experience in modding, some spare time and you like to help us out? We are currently in need off:
       an UVW Artist;
  a Texture Artist;
       an Animator (!);
       and a Mapper

Progress is slow, especially without an animator and some staff members (including me) are having examns in a few weeks so school is taking most of our time (good luck to everybody). Also say 'hi' to our brand new skinner §naĸe. You will be seeing some skins he made is the next few weeks.
